What shipping speeds do you offer?

We’re happy to ship plants and supplies using slower, more affordable services like USPS Ground Advantage/UPS Ground. When it comes to the health and safety of our live fish and shrimp, all live animal orders are shipped exclusively through UPS Next Day Air Saver & UPS 2nd Day Air. This helps reduce stress and transit time so your new aquatic friends arrive safe, healthy, and happy!
Live animals are shipped on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays to prevent packages from being stuck in transit over the weekend.
Live Arrival/DOA Policy

The health and safety of our fish and shrimp are extremely important to us, and we take great care in ensuring every order is properly packaged for a safe arrival.
In the rare event that an animal arrives deceased (DOA), customers must contact us within 1 hour of delivery and provide clear photos of the deceased animal(s) inside the unopened bag. Emails regarding shipments can be sent to help@shrimps-is-bugs.com
If more than half of the occupants in your order arrive deceased, we will gladly offer either:
A full refund (not including shipping costs) or
A replacement shipment at no additional cost to you
If you choose a replacement, we will cover the shipping costs entirely.
Unfortunately, we cannot honor DOA claims submitted after the 1-hour window or for animals removed from their original bags before photos are taken.

At Shrimps Is Bugs LLC, we’re hobbyists first and foremost. We genuinely love our shrimp, fish, and all things aquatic, and our goal is to share that passion with the community. We also care deeply about the long-term health and quality of the animals we work with. That means focusing on strong genetics and continuously improving what we offer to the community.
Before anything leaves, every critter and plant is carefully inspected by hand. We take the time to make sure they are parasite-free and without any potential hitchhikers. If it’s not something we’d be proud to put our name on, it doesn’t get shipped.
